Kayla S. Veitch

Born in Birmingham, AL in 1992.

My name, as you may have noticed, is Kayla. I grew up in Birmingham, AL so ROLL TIDE! I live in south east Kentucky and like a lot Kentuckian's I love basketball, Go Big Blue, and horse racing above all else. I graduated from high school in 2011.

I started taking photographs in 2012 with a Canon EOS Rebel T2i. I currently use a Canon EOS Rebel T4i and hope to switch to a full frame camera within a year.

I am totally self taught on how to use my camera and getting the results that I want. I know that I can learn a lot from other photographers and have started to take note of the work of others. Photography is a never ending learning experience and I can't wait to try some tricks out.

I enjoy taking photos of nature and everything that it has to offer - man made included, such as old barns. In the spring the birds and bee's are busy doing what they have to in order to feed their young and make honey. The summer thunderstorms are always something to watch out for but the lightning and clouds can be amazing. In the fall so much color comes out to play. In the winter the snow turns everything white and ice makes everything shimmer.
